Is Bump Firing Illegal?

Post by Doug.38PR »

I don't see how. It's just your finger and your support arm in the right positions. But the BATF seems to be against anything that shoots a gun real fast (rubber band, heel fire, etc.)

Is it illegal? Can you be sent to jail if caught bump firing? (provided of course you're not using the gun in a reckless manner. IE bump firing towards some houses)

Most firing ranges in my area do not allow bump firing for safety reasons.
