Does Foreign Mil-Surp Ammo Remain Inexpensive?

Post by Abraham »

After reading some of the posts here regarding the still relatively inexpensive foreign military surplus rifles remaining on the market, I've gotten interested in buying one of these old bolt actions.

But, before I spend much time really looking into this idea, I'd like to know if military ammo cost has skyrocketed and availability has diminished dramatically.

If so, I'll drop the idea.

Anyone up to date on the status of this situation?

Thanks

Yes it has gone up in cost quite a bit, and yes it is harder to find. HOwever, don't let that stop you from buying an old milsurp rifle. They're too much fun to have around.
