I was in my local Walmart tonight looking for 9mm ammo on the almost vacant shelves. The guy behind the counter said they had received 60 boxes last Sunday and sold out that day. He had a shipment coming in tonight, but said there was no 9mm on the truck. He did say that there was some 45 Cal. Blazer Brass coming which would be on the shelf tomorrow. He also pointed out that he had some Winchester .45 on the shelf if I was interested. I thought about it and decided to wait on the Blazer Brass as its about $5 cheaper a box and went about my shopping. After getting a few other items, I reconsidered and went back to get some of the .45. No go! It was all gone in less than 15 minutes!
Moral: If you see ammo, you best buy it.

Re: Elusive Ammo
Yep. You posted this topic a little over a month ago, and it's done nothing but get worse. I finally broke down and ordered casting equipment because I can't even stir up a decent supply of cast bullets for reloading.
