Pray for a grieving husband and son

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Pray for a grieving husband and son

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

I received this email from my son. It was a prayer request from a friend of his. Please keep Lance and his family to your prayers. I cannot imagine the grief he must be experiencing.

His father died on Sat morning and he and his wife Bobbie were on their way that afternoon to make the funeral arrangement in Pennsylvania. They hit an ice patch in the road and went into oncoming traffic. They saw an 18 wheeler coming and jumped out of the car but Bobbie did not make it and was hit by the truck. She died within minutes in his arms. Lance had to go onto Penn. to bury his father and will be back in Texas to bury his wife later this week. This is unimaginable to me. He is 23 years old and need our prayers to get through this.

Unbelievable. Terrible tragedy. My heart goes out to Lance. He will definitely be in our prayers as he needs strength from the Lord now more than ever.

What a terrible situation and I can not imagine the horrible pain they are going through. Only God can heal a broken heart and I pray for the God of Comfort, to shed his love and comfort upon Lance and family.

Will definitely be praying for Lance and his family. May the Lord bless and keep him in His loving arms.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me
