Ruger P94 9mm

Post by ml1209 »

Just picked this up tonight. Came with one factory 15-rd mag, and one Mec-Gar 20-rd mag.

And since people will want to know, I paid $300 OTD for it.

How'd I do? How are these Ruger pistols?

I have a p95 which is similar, mostly more plastic and stainless. Its my primary carry gun. It is very reliable and will shoot what ever I feed it. Super easy to clean. Its also the gun I shoot best with. You might find the trigger gritty, but it gets better with age. Shoot it a lot and shoot it often.

I think you did quit well. My first carry was a P89 in 9mm.
They are totally reliable. :tiphat:

I have a P 95. Totally reliable and built like a brick. The trigger isn't the greatest but still a very good gun.

I carry the SS version of the same gun in 40 cal every day. It's not a lightweight and it's not small....but it's accurate, always goes bang, and feeds anything i put in it. You made a good purchase-esp for $300.
