Man mistakes neighbor for monkey and shoots her

Post by Velocity »

In what can only be described as one of the more "interesting" negligent discharge stories - a man recently shot a woman in Malaysia after mistaking her for a monkey.

I"m not sure whether to  or "rlol"

I suppose the "know your target" is the primary rule to apply here. At least the victim is "stable".

Maybe I'm becoming cynical, but wouldn't the primary rule to apply here be: Don't trespass and steal fruit from your neighbor's tree?
Remember, in a life-or-death situation, when seconds count, the police are only minutes away.

I agree...you mess with a dog and you get bit. Now two wrongs don't make a right by any means, he broke the 4 rules...
"I am a Free Man, regardless of what set of 'rules' surround me. When I find them tolerable, I tolerate them. When I find them obnoxious, I ignore them. I remain free, because I know and understand that I alone bear full responsibility for everything I do, or chose not to do."

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

For the PETA folks, the good news is no monkeys were injured in the shooting of this person.
