Pistol sights

Post by RECIT »

I was at the local gun show this weekend and handled a used HK USP and noticed it had a rear ghost ring sight installed on it. I looked through or down the sights and fell in love with the way they looked and aimed for me. Does anyone know where I might look for a ghost ring rear sight for a CZ 75 pistol. From what I am gathering there is not a ton of CZ support in the aftermarket. I have seen a company or two that makes them, but none for any CZ models. Does anyone else love these types of sights on a pistol and are there any disadvantages to this style rear sight.

The only disadvantage I know of is not being allowed to use sights like that for IDPA....if that is something you do or might participate in later. I have never looked through a set on a handgun.

I do not have an interest in using this particular pistol for IDPA. I have never done any competitive shooting, but it is not the gun I would choose for it anyway.

Here is a link to an add. I like them a whole bunch, but doubt I could modify them for my CZ.
