Renewal Fingerprints? Just one set?

I recently went through my renewal class after receiving my packet from the state.

There was only one fingerprint card in the packet. I had the card completed and sent it back in with the rest of the documents.

After speaking with a friend who just completed the full course, I see that he had to complete 2 fingerprint cards.

Was my packet incomplete?

Or was it a difference between the initial class and the renewal class.
