Tyler Gun Show

Post by Oldgringo »

Did anyone go to the Tyler Gun Show this past weekend and want to tell the rest of us about it?

I went Sat. morning -line at the door was about 30 yards out into the parking lot around 11am, and we were all willing to stand in the rain to get in. I'll admit I went in the rain hoping it would cut the crowds down, I shudder to think what it would have been like on a clear sunny day

On a surprising note, I found what I went looking for -my new Glock 35 for $599. and thankfully the dearler was right near the door so I found it quick and got out  There's usually only 2-3 large handgun dealers that go to the Tyler show, and they often don't show up when other big Gunshows are running nearby -for example Bachman Pawn & Gun was NOT at the Tyler show this time (and they are the surest to have what I'm after usually).

I asked a few folks if they had seen anyone selling primers (my other shopping cause), but they reported none found so I bugged out of there and the sun broke later in the day so I went and shot my new Glock. A good day I'm thinking :hurry:

Actually this time of year rain brings people to the show. They need an indoor activity!
