University of Houston - Clear Lake (pro-Campus Carry!!!)

Post by stevie_d_64 »

I went with the "Wife-Unit" to go buy her cap and gown for the graduation this next month, and on the way in there was a large area (atrium) tha was full of these displays of student projects up in posterboards depicting several subjects...

The one that caught my eye right up front was a project laying out the Campus Carry bill we are all so interested in...Since I only had my cruddy phone camera at the time (not any good pics), I can only say that the projects conclusion was to support the bill...

It was a very well laid out display, with both sides of the argument pro and con laid out...

Needless to say, I was floored...Don't know how much longer that display will be up, but I'll try to get a decent digital pic of it soon...

Just thought I would throw this in there for y'all to see...

UH Clear Lake only accepts Jr & Sr level undergrads and grad students so the students are older than most campuses. I bet there will be several people packing if the law passes.

Congrats on the "Wife-Units" graduation, mine just got started again this year.

You bet...

There are also people who go there who are a little more seasoned, who understand the game...The presentation looked to be a little more grounded in facts than the average Jr. Brady Bunch emotional roller coasters at other higher schools of education...
