Change of address... options if you are nomadic?

Post by ratmoto »

I am moving soon, and will not really have an address, though I will still be in TX and probably in the city. I'll be at different places, with my mail going to a private mail box.

What are my options to comply with CHL address notification?

I would suggest that you put it in either a close, long-terms friends address or that of a family member. It isn't ideal, but I think that your choices are limited. Just be sure that these people will vouch that you did 'live' there if anything crops up (which if you keep your nose clean should be unlikely) JMO

I jokingly brought this up once before. I asked "What happens if they foreclose on my house and I decide to live in my van in WalMart's parking lot? Do I use their address or the make and model of my van as an address!!?"
