I took the CHL class today and our instructor, who also was the one who fingerprinted us, signed the back of our passport photos in addition to our own signature. The fingerprinting instructions in the DPS packet don't indicate that the person taking the fingerprints should sign the photos, at least not how I read it. I'm assuming he knows what he's doing since he's been teaching these classes for a while now, but I also don't want to take a chance of it holding up the application if it's not standard procedure.
Can anyone out there tell me if this is the way it's supposed to be done?
Thanks!

Yuppers, that is the way it is done. The person who takes your fingerprints signs the back of the photos to acknowledge the he (or she) verified your identity.

Thanks for the quick reply! I'll rest easier now knowing it's not a problem.
