Subject was the message received from Waldene Leach at DPS this morning!

Thanks for the support and hand holding. Hubby sent her an email this morning to see if he could do as well. The web still says "Processing" but we know about lag. :thumbsup:

Hey way to go, congrats! Now remember it can take a week or longer to get to you. Their mailroom is not real quick. It took them from Thrusday (their normal mailing day) until Wednesday for mine to get postmarked, I got it that next Friday! So hang on but your almost there.....

It seems to me that we have more coming into the waiting room than leaving it. Or that could just be my perception, since I've been here for so long, myself. But I have been granted my pardon. The license is in the mail, just like Granny!

Man that felt weird to say. My M-i-L is called Granny by my son, and while she's not anti-gun, I'll bet dollars to donuts that she's never fired any handgun, long gun, or even air gun.

How long from from now before it comes in the mail? - As in - Will it be mailed in a day or two? Or does it take a week from website change to printing press, and then another week to go out in the mail?

What has been other's experience from site change to plastic in hand?

My status changed on a friday back in March. The next day, I had plastic in hand. That seems to be the trend I have noticed. The day after the status changes, the physical card shows up.
