Link to get pin number?

I just got my application sent out today, by certified mail and was wondering what the link is to get a pin number to track the progress, as well as when I would be able to get a pin number.

If you submitted and paid online, your PIN was included in the packet they mailed to you.

If you did not submit the original application & pay online, your Pin will be mailed to you.
Most people get them around 6 weeks from receipt date.

If you are impatient, you can email dps at around week 4 or 5 and ask for it via email.

My packet was received on Apr 27 at DPS in Austin, I sent an email about getting a PIN, on May 28 since I did not get my packet online. They responded on June 2 with

Your application has not been entered into the system. It is likely going though the processes required before entry. When a completed application is entered you will be sent a confirmation letter with your PIN number.

Others have successfully received a PIN this way, maybe it was the person who processed the email, but I didn't have any luck - so I wait
