I'm about to try and load some 308 ammo for my DPMS lr-308 (ar10 16 inch chrome moly barrel with 1 in 10 twist)
I would like to use the 165(8) grain boat tail bullets (I found a decent source).
What powder would you suggest?

IMR 4895 is a good choice for .308 and that bullet weight.
