Crimson trace laser grips on Glocks

Re: Crimson trace laser grips on Glocks
I have two of them. One on a G26 and one on a G19. Very satisfied with both of them. Only problem is that they are really designed for right handed shooters. The bump where the actual laser sits is just about the same level as the bottom of the slide on the right of the pistol. I find that it just beats the poop our of my thumb joint shooting left handed. I guess if I had a lower grip position it might work, but I have to take it off for serious practice sessions or my knuckle looks like ground beef after.
Been thinking I would look into the competitor version to the CT version. It is a replacement to the rear sight and probably would work better for lefties.

Re: Crimson trace laser grips on Glocks
Normal thickness of the slide at the rear of my G21 is 1.122". With the CT lasergrips installed it is 1.604" at the largest point.
On my G19 the measurements are 1.006 without and 1.550 with.
I would be leary of the Laserlyte version you are talking about. Durability would be questionable IMO.

Re: Crimson trace laser grips on Glocks
I have one on my G 26. I don't think I would want to carry it on my left side. It would stick into your side.
Re: Crimson trace laser grips on Glocks
I carry either the G26 or the G19 daily. I do not find the laser attachment uncomfortable at all. On the G19 the inside lip of the holster interferes with the laser a bit, but not a deal breaker.
