Anyone carry a LCR?

Post by hoytinak »

Just wondering if anyone on here carry's a LCR. I got one last week and finally got around to shooting it today. Put 100rds through it and I must I say, I was very impressed with it. Recoil was milder than other J-frames I've shot, it was more accurate than me (like most my others) and the trigger is one of the nicest stock DA triggers I've ever felt. I'm thinking with some more rounds through it this may be my main carry piece.

Not surprised. I love Ruger and my LCP rocks. I expected Elsie Pea's brother would rock too.

I carry an LCR when i cant carry my XDM. I haven't shot any other .38 so i cant compare it, but its light weight and i like the grip and trigger.
It can happen here.

I carry a LCR as my warm weather gun. IMO it has the very best trigger of any small revolver that I have ever shot, I sold a S&W airlite once I shot the LCR. The main thing that I like is the reduced recoil and it is much more accurate than my S&W even with +P ammo. Carried at 1:00 in a tuckable IWB holster it conceals nicely and carrys even better. For those who have not had the opportunity to shoot one, they are worth taking for a test spin.

What kinda IWB are you using? I've got a nice little pocket holster and OWB holster for mine but I'd like to have a good IWB as well.

It is WRB, they are at all the gun shows and can be bought on-line as well. I own 2 of them and have no complaints. If I remember right they were $35.00. Mine was purchased for a J Frame but works just fine with my LCR.
