Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall posted with 46.035

Post by Commander »

I made my first trip to Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall yesterday and was interested to note that the entrances are posted with signage quoting PC 46.035, which is meaningless to CHL holders. This facility is one year old so this signage is not something that has been posted for any long period of time.

Here is the actual sign....apparently they didn't read their message. The top says "No Weapons" but the bottom only requires you to keep it concealed. I think they need a better lawyer.

I have a feeling that whoever decided on the wording of this sign knew exactly what they were doing.

I would agree.

For the sheep, it says what will make them happy.

For the sheepdogs, it also says what will make them happy, but reminds that "concealed" means "concealed."

I hadn't thought of it that way....You might be right. Whoever worded the sign is very crafty or very ignorant.

This is the first time I have seen something that would make me agree that someone was ordered to post a sign and did not want to ban CHL's. I have to agree with the other posters that whoever put this sign up was very crafty about it and very deliberately selected the wording. I usually put mistakes like this in the category of stupidity, but this one strikes me as way too clever/coincidental to be an honest mistake.

Plus...

We all know that the official Gun-Buster sign features a red circle with a line through it placed over the silhouette of a Beretta 92FS. This one is a yellow circle with a line through it placed over the silhouette of a J-frame revolver. That's not even a compliant gun-buster sign!
