1911 Grips - Need Help

Post by NORMAN »

Can anyone give me a contact to where I can find some custom grips for a 1911.
The Mrs. and my daughter want some grips either in a zebra print or some form of pink for their 1911 !! (must be a girl thing)
Any help would be appreciated. I have looked but can't find anything.

Thanks, Norman

This is pink ivory wood -- not stained,this is the natural color of the wood. I bought them from an ebay store called "The Crafter's Craftsman"

Ajax grips may have what you are looking for.

http://www.ajaxgrips.com/ajax/ajax?set=30" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Or 2Rgrips

http://www.2rco.com/products.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Even Tombstone gun grips

http://www.tombstonegrips.com/colors.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Try those three they all list pink, zebra may be a bit harder

edit: Look on Ebay too.

I have always found a great selection of 1911 grips available at gun shows. Could be a good excuse to go to a show!

Here is one located in San Angelo. I'm interested in what they are doing with the mesquite grips. What could be more Texan? http://www.gripus.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I just ordered a set of the mesquite grips with a mother of pearl longhorn inlay for my Kimber. Don't know if they'll fit, but the price was right and they look good.

I'll let you know how it goes.
