where to buy?

Post by mr.72 »

I am kind of looking for a Hi-Point 995 carbine.

Anyone know where in/around Austin I could find one? Or online? If I can find one in stock I'll buy it today.

I am somewhat in the carbine market as well. I personally like the features of the Kel-Tec Sub-2000 a little better, especially the fact that it folds in half for storage. It will also take pistol magazines of several common guns. I've fired fenster's .40 model, and like it very much. I'm considering purchasing one in 9mm in the near future. McBride's carries them, so you might call them to see if they have one and go down there and take a look if they do.

yeah I considered the Kel-Tec but it's 2x the price of a Hi-Point and the folding feature is not something I want.

I do have a folding Kel-Tec carbine on my wish list, but it's not the Sub2000. SU-16.

I see these at the pawnshops in my area regularly.
You may draw your own conclusions from that observation.
