The above is the website of the Texas Gun Collectors Association. They have a mailing
address of Utopia, Texas which is in northern Uvalde County, where it meets Real, Bandera,
and Medina counties.

For 50 years, this organization has held previous gun shows all over Texas, including Fort Worth, Dallas,
San Antonio, and Houston. But they have now chosen Fort Worth to be their steady home
for their big show, which is the 3rd weekend of October, at the Cowboy Hall of Fame.

This show will not feature moderns arms or modern ammo. There will be historical firearms,
200 tables, dealers from all over, Hollywood firearms (John Wayne, Clint Eastwood), and old Colts.

They will have an 1835 twelve pound howitzer that was used by Texans in New Mexico, but it was
then captured by Coloradans.

The Texas Civil War Museum, Fort Worth, will show a Confederate Wentworth Sniper Rifle,
one of the very few in existence. This museum's home base is near Silver Creek at I-820,
near the border of Fort Worth and White Settlement. They are exhibiting at the TGCA show.

Saturday, 10-17-09, 9-4. Sunday, 10/18/09, 9-2.
Free appraisals will be given on collectible firearms and bladed weapons.

If anyone goes, post a comment here.
