Polish P64 9x18 Makarov Double Action Walther PPK style.

I have three Maks from different countries... one of them is stainless in .380. Handles exactly the same, feels the same, uses the same magazines (but absolutely not the same ammo!) The biggest differences between the Maks are cosmetic. They're all fun!
The Nagant is a curiosity. The cylinder actually moves forward when cocked, making a better seal between chamber and barrel. Trigger pull does tend to be very heavy. But if you can't find the 7.62 ammo, it will digest .32 mag just as easily.

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

You might want to look at these P83's, the replacement for the P64.

For my money, buy a real Mak instead. Southern Ohio Gun has nice Bulgarians for $275.

The best 9x18's to own are the genuine Maks or the CZ82.

I am kind of partial to the P-64 just because I am Polish! Ha ha
They both look like fun guns and for the price not to bad of a deal, I like the not so common guns

I've heard that the recoil of the P64 is more noticeable than other 9x18 pistols, but not unmanageable.

The p64 is a great cc pistol. Its the best value out there at $150 imo. Get the hammer spring replacement (18#) from Wolf to tame the heavy DA trigger pull. Get a p64 now. When the surplus supply dries up the prices will likely double. I have been extremely impressed with this little pistol. Google p64resource for more info.
The Krag rifle is the Swiss watch of MILSURPS.
