Welcome DDuck, and may your blessings continue! My wife and I will hit the 19-year marriage mark August 8th, but hope to keep it going for a long time to come, too!

Where in Rockwall County? I am off Zion and 30 on the west side of Lake Ray Hubbard, and I too plan on taking the course in a few weeks. Would like to hear where you plan on taking it!

Welcome, fellow Rockwallian..... hope you are staying cool!

Give a shout when/if you want to go to the range, and we can load up.
We can even bring Cyphur along. ;-)

Being the smallest county in Texas, it could be easy to miss!
But then, that would mean that you probably also missed that it is (now 2nd I believe) the fastest growing county in the Nation. Eek.

25 miles from Downtown Dallas, due East.
On the map you'll see a lake, Ray Hubbard. we are between that and Greenville to our East.

To me, its the best. Big city shopping, small town feeling. Lake is < 1 mile, and Bass Pro Shop is opening in November < 1.5 miles from the house.

Makes me happier than a gopher in soft dirt.

Ditto on what the Marshal said....Rockwall has more to come:

Best Buy
Academy Sports and Outdoors
JC Penny
Belk
Staples
La Madeline
The Harbor Hilton
Southwest Kia
Presbyterian Hospital of Rockwall
Rockwall elementary Schools #11 and #12

....and we keep on growing

I actually live in Heath, a suburb of Rockwall. I plan on taking my CHL class at Texas Handgun Academy, its fairly close and they do your fingerprints, photos, and notary work.

DaveT--- My name is Donald, but I go by Don.

I have now posted my new guy info in the correct place.
