Volunteers needed for TSRA Annual Meeting

We need volunteers to help at the Annual Meeting of the Texas State Rifle Association. The meeting will be held on February 26-28, 2010 at the Mesquite Convention Center. Volunteers will help with numerous tasks at the meeting on each day. Some of the places volunteers will be utilized are:
Registration
Gun Show set up
TSRA Store
Greeters

Every volunteer will receive a gift packet for serving and lunch on each day they work.

A unique opportunity for volunteers is the TSRA Foundation Banquet and auction on Friday evening. Volunteers will have work with the auctioneer to identify bidders and encouraging them to stay in the bidding process. Volunteers will make an impact by helping get the highest bid for items offered in the auction.

We will need 10 people per day for the three days of the meeting. If you are available to contribute directly to the success of this important event, please email Steve Vandermolen, the State Volunteer Coordinator at svc@tsra.com. Include your name, contact information and if you are available for the entire three days. If you are only available for one day, please indicate which day in your response. You will receive a confirmation email and specific instructions prior to the start of the meeting.

Also, Prior to the annual meeting, we have a special need for 4 volunteers in Austin. We need people willing to work with the staff at TSRA Headquarters on February 23 and 24. These volunteers will help the staff get all of the material for the annual meeting together and loaded for the move to Mesquite on February 25. If you are in the Austin area and want to help out, please indicate your availability by email to the SVC.

Volunteers are needed to make the upcoming annual meeting a success. Volunteering allows you to help your TSRA directly. We look forward to your response and will strive to make this a memorable experience.
