VERY COOL!!
Seeing that armadillo popper topper/twister jogged my memory...indulge me if you will...I've got one of the armadillo creations, although it doesn't say LaRue Tactical on it, it's either anodized red with no text or it has "Austin Precision Products" on it (along with being red).
I was given it years ago (maybe 6 or 8 or more) by a guy at a tradeshow (the AmCon Show - a job shop/contract manufacturing show), he was in the booth next to me. I remember that he was out of Austin, had a job shop there and into planes, specifically the Navion. We chatted for a few and he gave me on the Armadillo openers, which I still have and use, it's in the kitchen. He uses them as a promotional/remember me giveaway, they make them at his shop, using an EDM from what I recall.
So, I see this post - it all clicks...it was Mark LaRue, of Austin Precision Products / LaRue Tactical. Too cool!
If you go to his homepage and look at the bottom left you'll see a pic of him with his Navion and and a link to a Navion article:
http://stores.homestead.com/Laruetactic ... eFront.bok" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Back on topic.. That was a great gesture on the part of LaRue Tactical to send you a card with a little gift.

BTW...Merry Christmas !

Oh brother

I agree, I think LaRue went over the top with this. I am defiantly going to be spending some money with them in the future. I know they send them out in mass mailings but I feel the least I can do is send a Christmas card back to them with a little hand written note in it talking about how thankful I am for the gift and a thanks for all they do in furthering our sport and thanking them for there never wavering support of my brothers in arms.

Merry Christmas too you too.

That's pretty neat. I may have to pick me up a tactical beverage entry tool, lol.
