TX CHL Renewal forms and process.

Post by dubya »

Why am I not surprised the "gummit" can make anything seem complicated?
Received my renewal notice from the state and went to the instructed http://www.texasonline.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; to start the renewal process.

EDIT: I see below a packet is being mailed. That answers my questions for now.
Anyone care to describe what they "experienced/received" in their renewal process?
I sure thought this would appear to be simpler....

Regards,
JW

the renewal process is the same as the initial license process...with two minor exceptions, the class is shorter and the price is less....otherwise, i would like to think they could come up with an easier and less painfull process...

Do you have to use this electronic fingerprinting now (the locations are not convenient to me) or can you still use cards done by an officer?
Thanks,
