Followed me home from the Gun Show

Post by LaserTex »

So, I got up this morning and headed over to the Saxet Gun Show (new location 410 and Marbach - San Antonio) Looked around - found Remington Mega Pack 250 rds of .45 ACP for $110. Not too bad. Headed home to see if the Misses wanted to go. I love that lady - of course she did. Quick lunch at Rudy's and back at the show.

Found this plunket - Ruger 22/45 Mark III NIB - narked $238. Sold for $200 even.

I can FIND .22 ammo all over the place :-)

Couldn't even wait to get home to take the picture?! Looks like the picture is taken in your passenger seat. That sounds like a great deal and I'm sure that you'll enjoy it. Let us know when you get it out to the range - I have a suspicion that it won't be long.

Congrats!

Yep - caught me. It was in the parking lot of the Gun Show. She's all cleaned and oiled now. May have to take a trip before the game tomorrow :-)

Confirmed. BulletHole tomorrow for the testing. "I can't sleep...I'm too excited." LOL

P.S. I am thinking about 1100 - shout a couple hours, home by the start of the good stuff. See ya there?

Let me see... you start at 11:00, shout for a couple of hours, and then after you've lost your voice, you start shooting? Say... around 2:00, maybe 2:30? Why not just go straight to shooting? "rlol"

BTW, I bought one of those last year at a gun show, and it is a hoot. I shot it just today, in fact.

I need to get out to the Bullet Hole to break in my new Bersa 380. I think I'm going to wait until my dad gets in town for his visit and take him out there.

Well - if I am ever attacked by a piece of paper - I'm good to go.

Range Report - shot better after 300 rounds. I cleaned and oiled yesterday but must have missed some of the packing oil in the magazines. Once everything warmed up (it was 45 on the range) it fired great. About 700 rounds today - yeah, that fun.
