I think she likes it

Post by samobius »

I brought home my new IWB holster from the gun show today, and I've been wearing and adjusting all day. I loved it the moment I first put it on, but now I finally got it to where I think it's perfect.

My wife commented that she couldn't possibly see how on earth it wouldn't be uncomfortable having a pistol right against your back like that. So I said, you should try it on. I helped her clip it on her belt and she was amazed at how it was almost un-noticeable both physically and visually. I'm not sure I'm getting it back tonight, so I at least had to take a pic.

I think she secretly wants her CHL too. She has hinted at it once or twice but then kind of waffled on the comment when I ask if she really wants to. I'm just trying to let her come to the decision organically because she's a little intimidated by guns and I don't want pressure her. So if letting her walk around the house with, as she says, "dangerous pants" helps to sway her then why the heck not?

That's really the best way to do it. Give her the opportunity to make the decision, and then give her your full support. I like the shallow depth of field, and soft focus in the photo. What kind of camera did you take it with?
Oh, and what kind of holster is it, btw?

Looking for a holster for my wife, What kind of holster did she try? With what kind of belt? My wife has a build like your wife.Mrs FL450 has tried on my CrossBreed Supertuck at the 330 position and didn't like the lines showing thru her jeans so now we are trying to decide her next step. Her Carry gun is a Sig P250 9mm compact.

Uhm, that snapshot was a Nikon D700 with a 50mm 1.8.

That is a CompTac CTAC holster with a Bersa 380. The belt is just a regular leather belt from Express or Old Navy or something. I don't quite remember.

I second the endorsement on the Comptac CTAT. It is adjustable many different ways to fit different body types.
