Hope this is in the correct section-
I am a new Texan. One of the first things I did when moving is register to vote. I received my voter card but there is no party designation nor was there a choice. Can someone enlighten me on this? I don't want to miss Primary Elections. It could be that TX is open but I thought i should check in with like minded folks.

Correct. There is a place on your card where they will stamp which primary you voted in. You just can't vote in one primary and then vote in the other primary run off.bdickens wrote:You can vote in any primary you want.

If your party affiliation in not marked on the card, you have to vote at the independent primary voting locations.
