Zombie Targets!!!

Post by MojoTexas »

I saw this site listed in another post, so I clicked through to see what they have, and I noticed they sell ZOMBIE targets! That's right, you can truly prepare for the zombie apocalypse with these targets! ;-)

Here's the link: http://www.letargets.com/estylez_ps.asp ... 100~010106

I'm thinking about ordering some just for fun...

I was shooting at Winchester in S. FtW. Saturday night and got a couple of zombie Osama target. One is going up in my garage.

During that range trip there was a guy two lanes down. Obvious gang banger. He was all over the place. He was having trouble putting it on paper @ 7 yds and then he'd send it out to 15 yd and do a mag dump.

Part of me wanted to go give him a couple of tips like...."aim". But then I thought to myself "Hes a banger. I'm actually OK with him not being able to hit anything."

Wow...a gang banger actually attempting to PRACTICE? Perhaps he was just practicing looking cool while he fires his Glock 22 sideways from over his head. ;-)

On a related note, I was in "Gun and Knife Supply" in McKinney a few weeks ago and there were a couple of gansta wanna-be kids in there. The guy behind the counter was patiently letting them look at the rifles. One of them was posing with an AK-47 while his thug buddy took pictures with his cell phone camera. They wanted to see the handguns too, but weren't 21, and the sales guy wouldn't let them touch them without seeing ID.

Maybe some serious tactical advice was needed: "Hold it higher and tilt it a little more. Yeah, that's the ticket."

Sorry to take the thread back to the serious side, but this is a good company to do business with. They worked with both Parks and Wildlife and me when I was at TABC. They custom printed this target for us, with our design for the scoring:
http://www.letargets.com/estylez_item.aspx?item=TX-TABC" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Easy to work with, reliable shipping, and the price of .24/target (we ordered a years worth at a time, 5000) was very reasonable in my opinion.

But if you want a really good, lifelike, target for practice, here is one they sell:
http://www.letargets.com/estylez_ps.asp ... 000~050100" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

It is a little more than .24/target though.
