My Dad's Double Lung Transplant

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

My Dad's Double Lung Transplant

Post by Johnny Polite »

As the title says, my dad (a member of this forum) is currently preparing to receive a double lung transplant. There are still a lot of tests he has to go through. I think though in a few months, he will be on the list.

I won't get into all of the details to protect his privacy but your prayers are greatly appreciated.

Please pray for my dad but also my mom, so she can handle this.

Thank you very much.

Where is this being done? If they are at Baylor Dallas, I'd be glad to visit as I am here anyway

Prayers sent.

BTW, was this a result of smoking or some environmental factor or do they even know what caused this? And obviously, if this information is to be kept private no need to respond at all. I'm just curious what could lead to something like this for my own knowledge. No judgment. And regardless of causation, prayers have been sent.

I'm not sure where the actual surgery will take place, but he has been doing tests at Southwestern Medical(I think that is the name) in Dallas.

He doesn't smoke but there are some environmental things where he works.
I don't believe the doctors think it was environmental though.

Thank you everyone for your prayers.
