TN carry question.
My wife and I will be driving from Dallas to TN next month and when there we will stay in a motel, attend a wedding and eat in restaurants. I will have a legal handgun on my belt. I know I can carry all the way but wondering if I can carry in restaurants serving alcohol. Can anyone help?

I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Re: TN carry question.

How can it be unconstitutional to remove or reduce restrictions on a civil right?

Tennessee Court Rules Restaurant Carry Law UnconstitutionalC-dub wrote:Teamless wrote:Restaurant Carry in places that serve Alcohol has been ruled Unconstitutional. How?

Fairfax, Va. – Chancellor Claudia Bonnyman of the Chancery Court for Davidson County, Tennessee ruled last week that Tennessee’s restaurant carry law is unconstitutionally vague because of a perceived ambiguity over the state’s definition of restaurants. This law gave right-to-carry permit holders the chance to defend themselves from criminal attack while in a restaurant. "
