Would definitely require a duster to conceal.

If I were going to have one as a truck gun, I'd just as soon have the full length model. This one doesn't look - at least from the picture - like something you'd want to shoot from the shoulder. With that abbreviated stock, I keep thinking of how my face would look after that hammer spur had dug a chunk out of it. Is there something I'm not getting?

Did you catch that it's chambered for pistol cartridges, not .30-30 or similar.

It ought to be a blast to shoot.

Wonder if the 45 LC version will handle a 410 gauge shell?

But, if this thing actually handles 44 MAG and .357 MAG I'd likely go that way first over the 45 Colt.

Personal preference. Not to suggest doing it, but the .45 Colt can be loaded much hotter than the .44 Mag. If you already have several guns that can safely handle the hot loads (Redhawks, old model Vaqueros, Blackhawks, Super Blackhawk Hunter, Win Trapper 94, etc) then it increases the neat factor.

.410? Wouldn't cycle through the short action. If you want something that does, there is a revolving Judge rifle.

One of my passions is motorcycle camping and I while I always carry a handgun, usually an S&W .44, I am always on the look out for ways to incorporate a rifle. My wife comes with me most of the time and she takes up the vast majority of the baggage space, so I am really limited. Something like this could be just the ticket. Thanks for the post>
