Academy sale, firearms & gun safes, 6/27-7/3/2010.

The above link is page 7 of the Academy sales circular, for the week running from
June 27, 2010 through July 3, 2010.

Instead of featuring particular guns and their exact prices, this sale gives
you "x" dollars off different ranges of purchase prices.

Gun safes are included, as well as firearms (all kinds).

This doesn't seem too effective IMHO at bringing people in for this sale.

Happy shopping.

I used it :hurry:

I picked up a Heritage Roughrider - normally $179, marked to $149 and another $10 off - $139!!!! I just got back from Winchester Range in FW and it was great. Fires high to the right, but after a couple of rounds it was fine. My 13 year daughter loves it. She put about 100 rounds through today. I probably put 50 through it and 50 through my .40 S&W.

They were offering a good deal on a pink TCP, when I popped in yesterday. Sadly SWMBO has no interest in getting a CHL and I'm not manly enough to carry pink.

Like Karl, I took the opportunity to grab some cheap .223, though.

gtrman66, et al:

Thank you for the confirmation that one of these
"Academy sales" threads has paid off for someone!

I post these threads since I always get the Sunday fishwrapper
(Dallas Morning Snooze) and like to share with y'all.

SIA even though I don't comment on these posts I do use them on occasion since I don't have a bird I don't subscribe to the cage liner version of the SNOOZE papers electrons are cheaper and much more convienient.

Unfortunately the couple of thing I really want that they carry are a Colt Defender and a SIG P238 that they don't ever seem to run an ad for and they get them in very sporadically. May have to suck it up and get the sightless New Agent and order CT grip if I ever get back among the working.

I always check the ad, but I did not get the paper this week and SIA's thread was how I found out about this sale. So I owe a quick notes of thanks, because I picked up a Remington R-15 this morning for the cool price of $785!

So thank you SIA! :tiphat:
