I cant believe it!

Post by Keith »

Well today pigs started to fly. I bought a Glock G20. I have allways loved the 10 mm round but also love lighter handguns to CHL with. Im using it as a BUG for hunting hogs and of course my CHL carry from time to time.

After alot of research the Glock was def the lightest and also has a very reliable record. My only other choices were the Kimber and Colt Delta. There both full weight and cost more.

Im not posting pics because everyone has seen a thousand im sure. Thanks for letting me get this off my chest. One more thing I paid 500 out the door with Night sites. Was used but still had the original grease in it and the brochure was still sealed in the case. Looks like someone just didnt want it. Take Care.

Good choice. I might have gone with the 10mm, but for the lack of available ammo. I don't think I've ever noticed any on the shelves at WalMart before.

congrats! I would love to get a 10mm and those Glocks look like they could be just the ticket. Let us know what you think about it after you take it to the range.

I will def give a full range report probably going Friday. Bought some Double Tap ammo. They are the only ones that ive found who load the 10mm with full loads.

Bought 165 grain bullet with ballistics of 1425 fps and 744 ft lbs energy from a handgun. They used to allways be like that. For whatever reason most manufactors are loading them down around 1225 and 550 thats a big deal. Glock said the gun was designed to shoot full loads.

In olden days, longtooth Glocking was looked on as something shocking. Now, Heaven knows, anything goes! :anamatedbanana

I've run into Delta Elites at a couple stores around town during my latest hunt and was reminded how much I was interested in them when they were first released.
If I had a gun for every ace I have drawn, I could arm a town the size of Abilene.

Good for all of you guys. LT, my dear friend, finally showing us the Glock in your holster is going to be the only way to shed the guilt of years of Glock denial. :)
