Change of employment

Post by beerplug »

My son-in-law and I took the CHL class last April and filled out all of the forms during the class. The week following the class he changed jobs so he says his form is not correct and he hasn't submitted it yet. I suggested he just attache a letter with the new job information and send it in.

Is that the thing to do or does he need to get a new form to fill out?

Have him do the online application. That way he won't even need the form.

I take it if he applies on line he would fill out the new application form on line and then send everything else in. Can he use the forms for this data he already has or does he need to wait for them to send new forms to fill out?

He will fill out the form online & then print out a checklist which will tell him exactly what he needs to mail in.

He will need to pay online with a credit card.
