My dad is getting his CHL.

Post by nitrogen »

Actually, what I should have said (and won't fit in the subjectline) was:
My more-liberal-than-me former hippie flowerchild dad is going to get his CHL.

Took 3 years of working on him.

That is all.

Excellent! The More the merrier! :thumbs2:

My father would have his CHL if he lived in a state that actually issued them! (He lives in NY)

He's the only man I know to carry and (successfully!) conceal a S&W 44 Magnum in NY State "rlol"
Of course, he only does this while he is on his own property.. where it's legal... :leaving

Congratulations. Sometimes it takes a long time - but the good thing is... He is getting one!

You're more right than you know! I'm working on a self declared hippie woman I work with (complete with hippie bus) who wants to go rifle shooting with me, so yea.

Congrats! The sooner gun rights are viewed as universal rights and not "right wing nut" rights, the better for us all. :cheers2:

My dad keeps talking about going to get his CHL but never does, he "carries" a firearm in his car during long trips in the center console inside of a bag with the first chamber empty (revolver). Every time I bring up the subject he says how he's going to but never does. Wish he would. Grats on getting your dad too!

It is time everyone stop allowing themselves to be fooled into division where our God given (natural) rights are concerned. I am glad more on the left and the right are finally realizing government cannot and should not be relied on. Give us our full rights and we will take care of our own security, prosperity and freedom.

Congrats "dad" and I hope you never have to use it.
