National Geographic " Border Wars" series

Post by Commander »

I've been watching "Border Wars" which lays out a scary picture of what is going on along our southern border. Recently, they've periodically added a graphic that states matter of factly that "90% of the guns used by Mexican drug cartels come from the US". To my knowledge this supposed "fact" has been disproved several times, yet NatGeo is using it on a regular basis.

I've seen a few episodes and have to say that it is disturbing to say the least. Am I surprised? No. Most of us that live in Texas and other border states have been aware of this for many years. It's good that the rest of the US gets to see what is really going on behind the cover-up media/government agenda.

:iagree:
In the end, It is a show that is being aired nationally, and is proving that the media and government are lying about the border issue. Do you really think the media and government are going to allow them to show this without putting in some type of stipulation that they must adhere to. If they want the show aired, they must at least use some of the "evidence" that the government wants them to use. They will allow some opinions that conflict with theirs, just not all of them. :nono: Just my take on it anyway.
I've been enjoying the shows so far, and have been pleasantly surprised with the footage shown and the stories told. It's a good show that I hope makes a difference in the mindset of some of those in opposition to the border laws. :tiphat:
