Are Wally Walks Unisex?

Post by ChattyKat »

YAY -- my plastic came today! Now I can plan my Wally Walk and am wondering whether Wally Walks are the same for both genders. Or are there any special adaptations for females? Looking for an excuse to go to Nordstrom for the right shoes for the occasion. :smilelol5:

So let me see if I have this right? You are going to wear shoes from Nordstrom's, blouse from Sax Fifth Avenue, designer jeans, and makeup to Wally world? You are going to get stopped at the door and searched. :smilelol5: Congratulations on getting your CHL!

Nope, Nordstrom's will not work. Way too high class. That's why we do the Wally Walk instead of the Target Trudge.

TJ Maxx or Ross might be equivalent, though.

You could always compromise and go to Macy's. LOL

Congrats! Preach to your sisters, I personally feel that women need a CHL more than men. Not being sexist, on the contrary, women are more capable of "stopping" an assailant. It's in their nature, look at the Lioness. AND most criminals think women are defenseless. I would love to see the face of a mugger/sexual offender right before a woman puts her finger on the boom switch.

New Visa add...

CHL class $125
CHL License $140
Carry Pistol $500
Cute carry holster $80
Matching Shoes $240

The look on a bad guys face when you draw...PRICELESS

Seriously though, carry often and carry safe. Situational awareness YELLOW. :tiphat:
Carry safe and carry when and where you can. I'm just sayin'.

Bravo, SeaBear.

Maybe you could preach to my wife? My preaching seems to be defective...

The reason WalMart is the choice for the first outing with a new CHL is because they are carry-friendly. The tradition used to be to go to Walmart, wander around for a while, buy some ammo, and eat some nachos. Unfortunately WalMart doesn't sell nachos anymore, but buying ammo is still de rigeur. I suppose a sporting goods store like Academy could be substituted since you can buy ammo there, but it is not traditional.

They are also ubiquitous. Not every town has an Academy nearby - but very few people don't have a Wal-mart within a 30 minute drive.
