Does anyone have feedback on that Taurus? I looked at one a while back when I got my PF-9, and its about the same size. I have had nothing but trouble with the Kel Tec, and may need to replace it, especially at this price.

Also, if anyone has feedback on the Remington 700 that they are selling, I would really appreciate it. I have heard nothing but good things about the 700, but don't know the ADR from the other 700 variants.

Katygunnut:

I do not have first hand experience with the Taurus PT709 Slim,
but IIRC, there are some other forum members who have it and
like it.

The ad stated that it has a 7 + 1 capacity. I thought it was 8 + 1.

But if you step up to a PT-111, you'll get 12 + 1 rounds of 9MM in
a barely wider double stack grip.

Thanks!

Regarding the capacity, I'm looking to replace a Kel-Tec PF-9 as a BUG. My primary is a Glock (19 or 26 depending), so the BUG is a bit of an insurance policy for something that is very unlikely to happen in the first place (Glock dosen't go bang). The 2 aforementioned guns have approx 2,000 rounds between them with only one such occurence, and that was a bad primer). I'll trade the extra 4-5 rounds for an easier conceal in my front pocket.

With this, I'll have the 2 Glocks, the Taurus slim, and a Kel-Tec P3AT. Should allow for alot of carry combinations, especially since the P3AT disappears in an ankle holster. I'm lovin long pants weather. Lets me have a BUG for my BUG.
