Hello,
I just bought a EAA EZ9 (CZ99 or TZ99) what happens is the gun fired great the first mag, then ran the second mag through it and about the 4th round I pulled the trigger and nothing, not even a click. Hammer still cocked trigger just never reset. So I racked the slide spit the round out and then it shot good the rest of the mag... Now put the 3rd mag in and boom first round did it, now i'm looking to see whats going on I used the decocker to lower the hammer and that reset the trigger... So I start to shoot the second round and boom it does it again. Now every round I shoot I have to lower the decocker halfway, not enough to lower the hammer but if you push the decocker halfway down it resets the trigger. Anyone have any experience with these? All I can find online is how much they love them. I've already talked with EAA and they said send it in but looking at around 5-6 weeks and they are making me pay for shipping both ways so I was wondering if anyone might have something for me to try. Thanks sorry for the wall of text.

Re: Trigger not reseting.
First thing I would do is detail strip the gun, inspect and clean everything while paying special attention to the springs and engaging surfaces. I would then reassemble while properly lubing the gun, take it to the range and try it out again.
How do you explain a dog named Sauer without first telling the story of a Puppy named Sig?
