That's a beauty! You loves you some snubbie, don't you?

Yes, but it's by necessity.

The bobbed-hammer snubbie is what better fits my carry needs than a half dozen others I've tried.

Now I've gotten attached to the little prancing pony and want a Python.

I don't blame you. I really like my S&Ws, but I wouldn't mind picking up a Colt in .357 some day. Beautiful pieces. Strangely, as much as I really like 1911s, I don't have any yearning for a 1911 in that brand, although I do own a mid-80s vintage Government .380. But I really like the look of your blued snubbies with the nice wood grips. Are they roughly the same size as a J-Frame?

That's a beautiful work of art! I'd almost hate to carry something so pretty

Operative word is "almost".

If I had one that pretty, I would be constantly wiping the drool off.

I do wish Colt would begin manufacturing these again. Yours is a beauty!

Pert'near...just a little wider at the cylinder due to the extra round, but for all practical purposes they're the same.

I agree, but I have another Colt that's going to get shown off.

Those grips (in the OP) look like cocobolo -- beautiful wood.

It's also used in some fairly expensive guitars.

Thanks!
Actually it's just some nice rosewood that Jim Badger uses.
