New gun from the Big Town gun show this weekend

Taurus 2 1/2" .44 Magnum. Couldn't pass it up. I'll be going back to the Market Hall show next month looking for a good holster.

I was eying the larger brother of that one at a show a few months ago.

I wanted a .500 S&W with 6-8" bbl but the price was just too steep. The taurus revolvers are really priced great and I've had nothing but good experinces with the ones I've owned.

I don't know if there are any holsters made for that specific gun but you may want to look into holsters made for short barrel N-Frame guns. The Galco Silhouette (SIL126) would be a good choice.

Most Taurus revolvers are copies of S&W so I hope I can find some suitable holsters. I tried the new gun in several holsters at the gun show to determine which frame is most closely resembles and it seems to be a L frame. There's one guy at the gun show who has a whole table of brand new Galco holsters at 40% off the list price, but he didn't have any of the holster I wanted left when I was there.
