I'm curious to how many more people die in drunk driving incidents vs. gun related deaths. Ban alcohol?

For the year 2000, 16,553 people were killed in alcohol related accidents....that works out to 45 per day.....this was a quick Internet search, newer figures are probably out there somewhere....I also found that 115 people a day are killed in auto accidents in general. Both figures are more than the 34 people they allege are killed by guns each day. I suspect that figure is inactivate. I think I read somewhere that the Brady bunch among others include criminals being killed by police, or by someone defending themselves in the stats they quote.
