Will Rogers or Mesquite Rodeo

Post by jmra »

A couple of friends want me to take them to a gun show Saturday. Which one do you think I should take them to. One of them has never been to a show before.

FWIW, I was totally unimpressed with my visit to the WR show in January.
I thought Irving last week was MUCH better.

Never been to a Mesquite show..

Anybody know how many tables at Fort Worth show? I think M. Rodeo has 400.

I don't think Mesquite Rodeo has a show this weekend. There was one scheduled for March 19-20 but it was cancelled. The Fort Worth show this weekend is the smaller Ft Worth show. They are advertising 500 tables. ??

Fort Worth (Will Rogers) is getting expensive with having to pay for parking in addition to the entrance fee. Very few gun dealers - way more jewelry, jerky, collectables, knives, and raffle tables than dealers. And, as pointed out already, about the same as you will pay on line delivered to your FFL. And yes - offers on trades are ridiculously low ball. Pretty much the same for all of the gun shows in North Texas lately. You are better off going to your local gun shops and developing a relationship there. Sometimes you will pay a little more but it will balance out in service and the next time you come in to trade or buy something else.
