Strange message

When I am not inside a forum but viewing something where the chain looks like this:

Board index < Administrative

I get a message just outside the box that is as follows:

You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum.

Just a wee bit strange when I can then proceed to do exactly what that message says I cannot do.

Yep, just below it I see it
"You do not have the required permissions to read topics within this forum. "
I clicked on one thread and it opened and had writing, but I didn't read it, because no one gave me permission to ...


Actually, clicking the top link in any of the sections results in that same message I think, it did for the top 3 or 4 sections anyway, I never noticed before because I usually do Index -> new messages
