Rhino Revolver

Post by Art S »

looking for information on the Chiappa Rhino Revolver 40DS 4" 357. Has anyone purchased or try one out? Just curious about the handling and the lower barrel advantage.

Pretty thorough review in the current issue of NRA's American Rifleman. They were clear to say that it didn't function flawlessly in their tests, and that it packs more weight than a revolver of comparable, overall dimensions, but the comments about muzzle control and speed of follow-up shots--even with .357 rounds--keeps this one on my "to watch" list, if not quite yet on my "wish" list.

I'll be interested in hearing personal experiences, as well.

Is the 4" version even on the street yet - they have been claiming "coming soon" for the 4" and 6" versions for quite some time now...
