My wife surprised me

Post by stealthfightrf17 »

I injured my back at work, which gave me nothing better to do then constantly check my CHL status. Of course it finely showed up saturday. I got released to go back to work and my wife surprised me a let me get a new handgun. Finely I have my SF XD-9 SC. I also got to order my holster from comp tec. My new holster should hopefully ship today, and I love the new XD. What is even better, the holster and mag pouch will work on both my XD's. Now if only my plastic will get here

I had just picked up a new gun a kel tec pf 9. I had just got through
the break in on the gun when it happened. It's just killing me not to be
able to get out and shoot :banghead:

I re-injured my back last Thursday, and I'm on the market for a single-stack 9mm. I hope I don't have to be in pain for my next purchase....

I injured my back as well and have been on pain killers ever since. I take Tramadol to help the inflammation and it works with its extended release for pain. Nothing heavy, thank God, but my body is growing a tolerance for it though. Sigh..

Having bad backs really do suck. :grumble

I wish I could get a new pistol every time my back got hurt.. but then again I'm not married (thank god :biggrinjester: )

Hope you feel better, mate. :cheers2:

TAM:

What's your thought process behind getting a single stack 9?

What is on your short list for such a pistola?

I got one (PF9) a couple of weeks ago and now have about 350 rnds through it left handed. Had rotator cuff surgery on my right shoulder a month ago and still have my right in a sling. It's been fun

My girl gives me disappointing looks every time I buy a new gun, but then she ends up wanting to shoot it so it all works out in the end.

Lately I've taken to involving her in my research on new firearms to buy so she actually gets a say in what gets bought. It's made it much easier to buy new guns.
