DD214 11x17 question for renewal

Looked around for info about this and couldn't find an answer to my question. The state wants a copy of my DD214 for the discount on my renewal and it needs to be the 11x17 and not the 8.5x11? I sent for copies and that's what I got...8.5x11. Am I right that the state will reject that size document? Thanks in advance for any help

They accepted my 8.5 x 11

I sent them an 8.5x11, no problem. I didn't even know a 214 came in 11x17.

I called the DPS and they said the 8.5x11 would work....thanks for the replies. Can't remember now where I read about the 11x17 but wanted to make sure. Thanks!

As long as the box showing your discharge status (member-4) is on there they don't care. I scanned my original at 300 dpi, saved it as a PDF it fit on an 8.5x11 sheet of paper.
