Not a terrible price but if you look hard you could probably save $20 or so. If it was something I really wanted and it was convenient to get at that price, I'd do it.
BTW, I have my 642 in my pocket as I type this. Great little wheel gun.

I am scared of empty guns and keep mine loaded at all times. The family knows the guns are loaded and treats them with respect. Loaded guns cause few accidents; empty guns kill people every year. -Elmer Keith. 1961

Yep, like HV said, great little "carry guns". Ya might or might now beat that price a little at a gun show or places like Bachman, Cheaper Than Dirt or Sportsman's Warehouse. Awhile back SW had a "package deal" with 'em coming with the overmoulded (not the little one) Crimson Trace laser grips for right at $500 - a heck of a good deal.

Sounds like a reasonable price.

Academy has them for $372 which is less than what I snagged one on-line for after the transfer fees. I bought a used one in Beaumont at a pawn shop for $265. I have seen them in various stores for up to $600+. $378 is a good price if new, used, offer less especially if any wear is evident.

+1 on the price. Also +1 on the 642 in the pocket right now. When I first bought mine the trigger was so gritty and heavy that I really disliked the gun. Couldn't hold it on target the trigger was so stiff. Had Alan Tillman of Austin do a trigger job and , wow, what a difference it made. Now I love the wheelgun and it's my constant companion.HighVelocity wrote:Not a terrible price but if you look hard you could probably save $20 or so.
